Arrowheads are a real traditional New Year's snack in China. The texture of the arrowhead resembles a cross between a potato and a water chestnut. The tubers of the arrowhead are edible, but must first be roasted or boiled. The flavour is similar to a cross between a crisp and prawn crackers.
