We specialize in specialty mushrooms, exotic vegetables, exotic fruits, roots & tubers, tofu and preserved authentic products. Our customers range from wholesalers and retailers to foodservice partners, Asian supermarkets and caterers across Europe.

Founded in 2008, Mitrofresh has grown from a passionate mushroom trader into a vertically integrated international fresh produce company. We combine three core strengths in one organization:

In Kosovo we operate high tech indoor farms where we produce our own king oyster mushrooms (Eryngii), inspired by Korean food culture, and shiitakes, inspired by Japanese food culture. Using innovative bottle technology, intelligent climate control and re-use of energy, we ensure consistent quality, year round availability and a low environmental footprint. As sustainability and innovation are key drivers for us.

From our modern head office and distribution center in Maasdijk we supply customers in 29 countries. Our facilities include an order picking warehouse, multiple temperature zones and automated systems. With our own office in China (Mitro Guangzhou Int.) we are close to the source in Asia and able to shorten supply chains while maintaining Dutch quality standards. With more than 210 products always in stock and over 300 colleagues worldwide, we are a fast growing, multilingual and multicultural team with a hands on, entrepreneurial mindset.
