For our head office in Maasdijk, we are looking for a:
Logistics worker/
Forklift driver
s a Logistics Assistant/Forklift Driver, your main role will be loading, unloading and transporting our products internally. You will also assist your colleagues in the warehouse with ancillary tasks within the production process.
What will you be doing?
- Loading, Unloading and Storage: Carrying out loading and unloading tasks, checking and correctly labelling incoming goods, and storing them in the appropriate cold stores.
- Internal Logistics: Moving products between cold stores, recording movements and separating different batches.
- Forklift Use: Driving safely and correctly, carrying out user maintenance and reporting faults or defects to the order picking team leader.
- Tidiness and Cleanliness: Collecting and stacking empty pallets, keeping the workplace and the forklift clean.
- Administration and Communication: Recording product movements, carrying out administrative tasks and sharing important information with the order picking team leader.
- Regulations and Safety: Complying with IFS regulations, reporting deviations and ensuring a safe working environment.
Who are you?
- VMBO/MBO level of working and thinking
- Forklift certificate
- Experience as a forklift driver
- Experience of working in a logistics environment
- Experience in the fresh produce sector is an advantage
- Good command of the Dutch language
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- You live in the Netherlands
