This is our shiitake mushroom. A taste bomb in every dish. Super healthy with lots of vitamin B, C, D, fibre, calcium, iron and magnesium.
If you remove the hard pieces from the bottom of the stem, you can eat the rest. Don't make the mistake of preparing the shiitake like a mushroom. Serve the shiitake al dente.
