The yellow hedgehog mushroom (pied de mouton, Semmel-Stoppelpilz / Schafsfuß) is a particularly tasty wild mushroom. We get it from the wild from July onwards. Its taste is creamy and slightly milder than chanterelles, a wonderful rich umami taste. Delicious!
