Snack-time! Let's go crazy, M. Enoki in the deep fryer.
Heat the frying pan with oil to 180 degrees.
Mix the patent flour with a pinch of salt.
Add the water and egg yolk.
Mix with a whisk until you have a nice even batter. Tada, the tempura batter is ready.
Cut off the food base of the M. Enoki's and make nice bundles (5-6 per package of enoki). Make sure the bundles do not fall apart.
Pass the M. Enoki bundles through the Garam Masala and then through the tempura batter. Drain off the excess batter and place in the deep fryer.
Deep fry the M. Enoki until they are nicely golden brown. Drain them briefly on kitchen paper.
Serve directly. With Doritos and a delicious chili sauce.
